Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data our eBay seller tools handle, why, and who else sees it. It covers the application registered with the eBay Developers Program under the name Store Assistant, which we use to manage our own eBay store. We do not offer this application to other sellers.

What we handle

When you buy from our eBay store, we receive from eBay:

• your name and shipping address;
• the details of your order: items, quantities, prices, order numbers;
• shipment tracking numbers, once available;
• the messages you send us through eBay, and our replies.

We do not collect your email address, your telephone number or your payment details. Our application is not authorised to read them: those permissions were deliberately left out when the application was registered, along with the ones that would let it issue refunds or change your feedback.

Why we handle it

• To ship your order. Your name and address are sent to our supplier so the parcel can be addressed to you.
• To answer your questions. Your message is read together with the status of your order so the reply is accurate.
• To keep our own records of which order went where, and what was said.

Who else sees it

• Our supplier (AliExpress). Receives your name and shipping address, because the parcel is dispatched directly to you.
• Anthropic. The text of your message and the facts of your order are sent to the Claude API to draft a reply. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
• Telegram. Used to notify the store owner. Order details and message text may appear in those notifications.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone else.

Where it is kept, and for how long

On a single private server in Europe, reachable only by the store owner. We keep order records for as long as we may need them to handle a return, a dispute or an accounting obligation, and delete them afterwards.

Deleting your data

If you ask eBay to close your account and delete your personal data, eBay notifies us automatically and our systems remove your data. This happens without you having to contact us.

You may also ask us directly to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, and we will act on it.

Please contact us through eBay Messages, from the order page or from our store page. That reaches the store owner directly and is the fastest way to get an answer.
